NCJPS Diaries
Epilogue
“If you do not want to be forgotten as soon as you are dead, either write something worth reading or do something worth writing.” — Benjamin Franklin
NCJPS Diaries was envisaged with a vision to assign words to emotions in an attempt to create a magical nostalgia for all those who feel connected to good ol’ days. Idea was to etch few moments for eternity which may be insignificant to all but one.
Various plots were shaped into chapters taking due care to maintain authenticity and actuality. This nascent concept received positive response from the environment. There was a dash of humour, sadness, spice, love, bitterness and sarcasm with uncompromising honesty. Verbatim narration of few episodes was emotionally taxing and it was even harder to share them publicly. Value of my work may not be even 2 cents in literary world, nor was it intended to have any. Aim was to stitch few lines and pour my soul, thereby converting them into a worthy feeling. With 11 enthralling chapters firmly in place, it’s time to wind-up phase-1 of the journey. Future of NCJPS Diaries rest on how often done and dusted incidents again inspire me to punch them in black and white. I convey my heartfelt appreciation to the readers who enjoyed my stories and provided valuable feedback. I also thank all those who endured them and remained bereft of any response.
One day, I along with characters directly or loosely associated with these penned stories won’t be around to re-cherish decades old innocence. But with World Wide Web, I have made sure that someone someday long after I’ve gone, may stumble upon events and circumstances that shaped the life of a boy called Gagandeep Singh.
